Charlie – Reeko

"So much more than Charlie's waking me
To my core and Charlie's shaking me "

Oh... Charlie!

Mr Reeko. The more I see your style the more I am becoming a proper PROPER fan-boy.

I think you always use a very carefully considered colour palette. It's always so effective and again that's in evidence here.

What I'm also liking is you get great compositions. It's never a rule of thirds horizontal & vertical type set up. It's all jaunty and curious angles and perspectives.

I'm guessing this is lyric based? I didn't even check the lyrics this month such was the eureka moment of thinking - Charlie Chaplin t-shirt!

Next month I'm sure to check the lyrics out.

Your shuffle Owen?

Good stuff dude. You certainly seem to be getting the hang of drawing curtains, veils and folded material! ;)

Again, the colour scheme works perfectly and the angles are jaunty, energetic and engaging. The look on the mother's face is priceless as is the half shut eye of the dad! Perfect!

To pick a fault, there's something that doesn't quite seem to sit right with the angles but only if you really stare at it and try to work it out. And Charlie looks like he might have dislocated his left ankle, but seems pretty pleased nonetheless!

All hail the king of IST!

I think it may be the light on the ceiling?

Correct! Good analysis lads...

The light on the ceiling is wrong, there should be some on the shade.

The light on the bed is a bit wrong too, which pushes the perspective out. I need to create a bed "edge" under the Dad's bum... or something...

Christie also said verbally to me that it's a bit grey... this may also be true.
